ANGELINA JOLIE



Angelina was born in Los Angeles, California on June 4, 1975.

Her father is actor Jon Voight.

She learned to act at an early age at the Lee Strasberg plays Institute.

Later, she turned to modeling and traveled around the world.

She appeared in a number of music videos before turning her attention towards acting.

She first appeared in a motion picture made for TV in 1997 entitled George Wallace and first appeared on the silver screen the next year in the film Playing by Heart.

In 2000 she won the Hollywood Film Festival Actress of the Year and the ShoWest Award for Supporting Actress of the Year. In 2001 she won the Teen Choice Award for Film – Choice Actress

Many rumors have been circulating about a relationship between herself and Mr. and Mrs. Smith co-star Brad Pitt. She denied any connection except that they are very good friends.

In July of 2005, Angelina and "friend" Brad Pitt traveled to Ethiopia, Africa so that Angelina could adopt a second child (Zahara Marley Jolie). Both kids are also being co-adopted by Brad.

In August 2005, Angelina has been granted honorary citizenship in Cambodia by King Norodom Sihamoni for her environmental work in the country.

The rumors of a Brad-Jolie (Bradjolina) relationship have been "officially" confirmed with the January 2006 announcement that Angelina Jolie is pregnant with Brad Pitt's child.

Angeline Jolie gave birth to a baby girl on Saturday, May 27th in Africa. She and Brad Pitt have named the child Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt.

Pitt moves with Jolie and the rest of New Orleans in January 2007.

An official from an adoption agency in Vietnam announced in March 2007, that Jolie has filed for the adoption of a child in his country. On March 16th, Jolie went to Vietnam to pick up Pax, the newest addition to her family.
